This guy in my youth group left for the Monastery at age 18. If you don’t know what that means, then here’s a little summary about it. He will never get out of it. He will never be able to see anyone from home face to face anymore, besides his family. He gives up ALL of his items that he had, living a life of prayer. His love of God is so strong. He is my hero.

He has joined the group that sells the Wyoming Carmelite Coffee, “Mystic Monk Coffee.” I believe they celebrate exclusively the Tridentine Mass in that community. Correct me if there is another group of cloistered Carmelites in Wyoming. The Mystic Monk Coffee group is the only one I’m aware of.

About DOMINUS PARS HÆREDITATIS MEÆ

Fr. Angel Sotelo. Priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fresno in California. Pastor. "The Lord is the portion of my inheritance" was recited in Latin by a seminarian on the day he was tonsured, and began to ascend the traditional Latin rites of Minor Orders. That's what the "Dominus Pars" means.

Every once in a while, I need to publish this by means of an intro. First, welcome, even if you're not happy to be following LOL.

Secondly, hang around the blog first and see what you think. My views are those of a Catholic priest who stands with the Catholic Church. If you want to see how I respond to a number of questions, just type in a word in the search box at the top of the blog and you'll probably find what your're looking for.

Third, I am very different from other internet priests. I often fight with the more "liberal, dissenting Catholics".

Please do not write and say you are "ashamed" because a priest behaves like that on Tumblr (controversial). I don't care what you are ashamed of. For all you know, there may be people who are ashamed of you too. So what? I enjoy blogging and helping others, and if I didn't help you, just click unfollow and go elsewhere.

Yes, I care when you feel hurt or shocked. No, it isn't going to make me back down or apologize for being Catholic.

What you SHOULD say to people dealing with any of these

Anxiety: This too shall pass, even if that sounds corny and cliche. Your anxiety will subside, you are not dying, you will not die from this, everything is going to be fine. Keep taking deep breaths, try and stay focused.
